Drunken Man Arrested After Threatening Grandmother

The arrest information in this report is from the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A 31-year-old Solon man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after Solon Police say he threatened his grandmother.

Police received a call at about 9:30 p.m. May from a bartender at Crossroads on Aurora Road complaining that the man was being disruptive.

Police came to the bar and took the man to his home on Pettibone Road. But the man accused his grandmother of calling the police. Despite officers telling him that his grandmother didn't call them, the man continued to yell and make loud noises.

The grandmother then said she feared for her safety because of his drunken state, and the police arrested him.
