Domestic Violence Sends Woman To Emergency Room

The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A 45-year-old Solon man turned himself in to police on domestic violence charges after his girlfriend was treated at the emergency room after a fight, according to Solon Police.

Officials at St. Vincent Medical Campus in Solon contacted police on Nov. 24 after a 46-year-old woman came in for treatment for injuries she said were caused by her live-in boyfriend during a domestic dispute, according to the police report.

The woman had injuries to her left shoulder, left eye, arm and ribcage.

Police said there were children at home during the dispute, so family services were contacted.

The boyfriend later turned himself in to police. He was held without bond in the Solon jail.
