Depressed Ex-Boyfriend Threatens Solon Teen
The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean conviction.
A concerned Solon parent brought his 17-year-old daughter to the Solon Police Station to report that her ex-boyfriend, a 17-year-old Solon boy, had threatened her, according to a police report.
The parent told police that the ex-boyfriend had sent the girl "threatening and disturbing text messages."
Police officers spoke to the boy, who said he just wanted to scare her and that he was upset and depressed over their breakup.
The case has been handed over to Solon's juvenile officer and is being handled as an aggravated menacing.
