Daily Photo: Deer in Solon

I've been covering the deer issue since Solon Patch opened late last year.

But while I've written plenty of articles on the issue, I've never gotten a picture of a deer in Solon (I've used file photos with my stories).

It's not for lack of trying – I've searched high and low, and the few times I've found a deer, they've run off before I could get a clear picture.

Until now. 

I was driving home from the safety committee meeting last night and saw a young spotted deer hanging out near SOM Center and Cannon roads. 

I was able to snap this picture as it stared at me from behind the crest of a hill before it ran off.
