Cleveland Cinemas says it will "take precautions" in the wake of the tragic and horrifying shooting at a Colorado movie theater that has claimed the lives of at least 12 people and injured some 50 others.
A gunman opened fire during the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in a suburban Denver theater, and police have arrested the suspect, James Holmes, a 24-year-old graduate student at the University of Colorado, according to the Huffington Post.
Cleveland Cinemas released this statement today:

The safety and security of our patrons is important to us. Given the recent incident in Colorado we are taking precautions to help address our patron's safety concerns.
A spokesperson from the theater company said they could not divulge details about the "precautions" because of security reasons.
