Cash For Gold Business Swindled With Counterfeit Coins

A cash-for-gold business in Solon bought 104 silver coins that turned out to be fake, according to .

According to police, two hispanic men walked into Gold Guys on Aurora Road with a collection of 104 silver coins sealed away in collection sheets.

The coins appeared genuine, so the business bought the coins from the men for an undisclosed amount.

But employees of the store started to have suspicions, and ran some tests on the coins. They turned out to be fakes.
