Another Solon Car Break-In: Expensive Items Stolen From Car Outside Restaurant
The information in this report is from the Solon Police.
Solon Police are already investigating a number of car break-ins in which computers and briefcases were stolen from cars parked outside Solon restaurants.
Now there's been another one. On Nov. 28, a 32-year-old Lakewood man was eating dinner at Akira Hibachi at Uptown Solon on Kruse Drive at about 6 p.m.
He came out to his car to find the driver's side window shattered and a bunch of items missing, including his briefcase, which contained a laptop, an Apple device and $750 in cash.
More break-ins had occured outside restaurants in November. Two cars were broken into outside Blue Star Tavern on Brainard Road. Another car was broken into outside Senorita Bonitas on Enterprise Parkway.
In those cases, items such as laptops and purses were stolen.
Police are investigating.
