A 49-year-old Solon woman called 911 on May 15 to tell police that her friend had "tore up" the outside of her house and doused her with lighter fluid.

Police arrested Julian Luis Deayala, 49, of Houston, Texas, and charged him with assault, criminal mischief and intimidating a witness.

According to police, the woman said she knew him from high school and that they started dating.

"Oh my God, he's chasing at me, please," the woman told the dispatcher. 

According to the police report, Deayala was a guest at the woman's house on Royal Portrush Drive in the Signature One subdivision. She said he approached her in her bedroom and they began to argue. 

The woman said Deayala threw her down on the bed and then raised his fist, as if to punch her. 

He eventually went downstair and began trashing the outside of the house, according to police. The woman followed him downstairs, and the man began dousing the house and her with lighter fluid.

The intimidating a witness charge was added later when Deayala made a collect call to the woman from jail after being told not to. The woman refused the call.
