Help Wanted: Part-Time Voice Instructor

Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Part Time Voice Instructor.

Qualified applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance, Vocal Pedagogy or a related degree with a Vocal concentration from an accredited institution, Master’s Degree a plus. Interested applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience and have proficient piano accompaniment skills. This position involves daytime and possible evening hours and will begin in June of 2012. The hourly rate of pay is based upon experience and qualifications.

Candidates for the Voice Instructor position will interact closely with the Music Department Coordinator and will be able to work with students of all ages and skill levels. Additional opportunities may be available to assist with SCA’s theatrical productions. Applicants must be professional and display leadership qualities in a classroom setting. Excellent problem solving abilities, organizational skills and interpersonal communications are required. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
