Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Part Time Board Certified Music Therapist.

Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Music degree from an accredited institution, be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and a member of the American Music Therapy Association. Knowledge of the Ohio Department of Education Autism Scholarship Program is a plus. Interested applicants must have two years of teaching experience. This position involves possible daytime and evening hours and will begin immediately. Hourly rate is based upon experience and qualifications.

Candidates will work closely with the Music Department Coordinator and will be able to create and provide therapeutic musical programming for children and adults with developmental, behavioral, emotional, pervasive and physical disabilities or disorders. The successful candidate must be professional, maintain a reliable schedule, have excellent organizational skills and be able to communicate in a positive manner.
